A couple of years ago when the market was really bad and my 401k was losing money by the month, I aggressively re-invested my money into traditionally high performing funds that were very cheap because of the market. Well, that strategy worked because in 2009, I had a 27% return on my investment. I have since left my job, and do not know what I want to do with my money. I know I can:
1. Rollover to my new 401k
2. Rollover into a IRA
3. Leave the money there, but I won't be able to add to it anymore, and let it just fluctuate
The reason I am hesitant to roll the money over because I would then have to reinvest my money into new funds at todays market prices, and I know I won't achieve the same return on my investment. I am not an investment guru, so I am looking for a little advice.
