http://theadvice.com/message-boards/topic/pay-off-credit-cards#post-123
Tue, 31 May 2011 16:49:33 +0000southpadrejoy123@http://theadvice.com/message-boards/
I have at least 12 credit cards that I have paid off. Some of them are from when I was trying to get my credit score raised which I have done, but I don't know whether or not to close these that have high interest and fees each month. Like right now I was charged $6 this month for a fee that has 18.9% interest and a $400 credit limit. It was paid in full until this fee was put in. Please help.

http://theadvice.com/message-boards/topic/what-you-do-with-my-401k#post-5
Sat, 27 Feb 2010 04:59:31 +0000mcintoshmc5@http://theadvice.com/message-boards/
A couple of years ago when the market was really bad and my 401k was losing money by the month, I aggressively re-invested my money into traditionally high performing funds that were very cheap because of the market. Well, that strategy worked because in 2009, I had a 27% return on my investment. I have since left my job, and do not know what I want to do with my money. I know I can:

1. Rollover to my new 401k
2. Rollover into a IRA
3. Leave the money there, but I won't be able to add to it anymore, and let it just fluctuate

The reason I am hesitant to roll the money over because I would then have to reinvest my money into new funds at todays market prices, and I know I won't achieve the same return on my investment. I am not an investment guru, so I am looking for a little advice.
